Looking west from the Leister farmhouse at the barn. Past the end of the fence row at the right of the barn is the monument to the 2nd Pennsylvania Cavalry Regiment, which was serving as part of the army headquarters provost guard. Almost hidden in the trees on the far right is the monument to the 10th New York Infantry, also serving with the provost guard. The ridge of ground in the distance is Cemetery Ridge.
