Looking west from Doubleday Avenue. The monument to the 6th New York Cavalry (on the left) and the marker for the 2nd Brigade, 1st Division, Cavalry Corps (on the right) can be seen in the distance on Buford Avenue. It was across this fieldthat the charge of Iverson's Brigade of Rodes' Division came to disaster.
