Marker to the 12th New Jersey Infantry at the site of the Bliss Farm at Gettysburg

Looking west. The line of trees in the distance follows West Confederate Avenue. The importance of the Bliss farm area can be seen in the photo,
as it is the highest ground between the Confederate position in the distance and the Union position on Cemetery Ridge behind the photographer.
The Bliss farm buildings were never rebuilt after they were burned during the battle.
