1st Pennsylvania Reserves
(30th Pensylvania Infantry Regiment)

The monument to the First Pennsylvania Reserves is south of Gettysburg on Ayers Avenue.

The regiment was commanded at the Battle of Gettysburg by Colonel William C. Talley. It was part of the 5th Army Corps, 3rd, Division, 1st Brigade.

A monument to the regiment's Company K, recruited in Gettysburg, is on Lincoln Square in the center of town.
