The Confederate Second Army Corps had over 20,000 men in three divisions. Each division had four or
five infantry brigades and an artillery battalion. Two additional artillery battalions served as a corps
artillery reserve. Every infantry brigade except Steuart's consisted of regiments from the same state. |
